A Problogger Mom

I was just surfing around, and stumbled upon this very helpful site for women and mom entrepreneurs. It is Ponn M. Sabra’s site Empower Women Now. If you are like me, and new to the blogging scene, and also trying to turn blogging into a money making venue for yourself, you must check out her site. She has many useful tips for those of us starting out, and well as a Link Directory for sharing the link love among those of us with similar entrepreneurial spirt. She also offers a Free “Special eReport: Make Money Online: How You Can Too!”. I just signed up and am anxiously checking my inbox. I will be checking out her site often, and hope you all find it as useful as I have.

ACK! Yes, the kids finished school last Friday, and I am trying to establish some sort of “routine”, but chaos seems to be winning here. I find I am most productive with my “work” in the late evenings, after the kids are in bed. Hopefully, they will all learn to sleep in soon. :D My oldest would sleep in if givin the oppurtunity, but the younger two generally wake her up early to entertain them, and once they are all up, I am too. I am sure by the time we establish a “routine”, it will be time to alter it again to get us back in school mode. I hope all you other WAHM’s, can find some time to enjoy the summer as well as continue to be productive.

I have found blog networks for moms (TheMomBlogs)and blog networks for women (Blogher), but I have yet to find a group or network of moms and or women who are purposely trying to earn money blogging. I had a New Years resolution to find a way to bring more money into the household. I already sell on eBay and run that business while being an at home Mom. My goal was to find other ways that I could make money online. I stumbled upon Darren Rowse’s Problogger.net site, and I thought this just might be a way. In researching professional bloggers and ways to earn money from blogging, I haven’t really run across many successful women doing this, or mom’s for that matter. I’m hoping to find them though! I know many women who blog, so why not earn money while doing it? I don’t expect to get rich (although that sure would be nice!), but if this becomes a means for me to stick to my resolution and make it happen, than I will feel great about it. I would love to hear from other probloggers, especially women, and hope that we can network and support each other and we’ll just see what happens!
